It’s been a short but intensive time that I’ve spent working with the team at the Giggs Group - and the challenge has been perfect for me.
The team has a natural good energy and a strong belief in customer service excellence that actually gives my marketing efforts an incredible head start. I literally just have to communicate what they do so people get to hear about it.
The estate agency sector is at a very exciting point in terms of marketing - it is just discovering the value of digital systems, social media and good data usage to business growth and communications. The Giggs Group is ready to seize the opportunities that joined-up thinking around digital communications can bring, and is busy preparing to future-proof its systems.
My instinct, like David Packard, is that marketing is way too important to be left to a marketing department - it should live and breathe in everything an organisation does and says - so a key part of my role for the Giggs Group has been motivating the whole team to think about how each them as individuals can contribute to the messages their audience receive.
I have absolutely no doubts that everyone who is part of the Giggs Group over the next few years is going to be part of a very exciting journey, both individually and as a business, and their success will grow, confidently and consistently.
