As a Director of Giggs and Co, I work across St Neots, Huntingdon and, at times, St Ives, helping people navigate one of life’s biggest decisions – moving home. Having grown up in St Neots and worked locally in estate agency for 27 years, I’m passionate about the communities we serve and the people who live within them.
Like many young people, I stumbled into estate agency at 16 without a clear career plan. What I quickly discovered was that I enjoyed helping people, solving problems and guiding clients through what can often be a complex and emotional process. I’ve never looked back.
The most rewarding part of the job is making a genuine difference to people’s lives. The biggest challenge is wanting to help everyone, while recognising that sometimes circumstances are beyond your control.
I live in Grafham with my wife and our three children. Outside of work, family time is my priority, whether that’s spending time with the kids, socialising with friends or simply switching off from the fast pace of the industry.
If I had to sell our local area to a stranger, I’d point them towards the beautiful riverside walks, green open spaces and, above all, the friendly community spirit that makes this part of Cambridgeshire such a special place to call home.
